1hr and 21 mins into the program, TRS Racing member, Melissa Alfano, caught up with Alyssa Godesky over beers following the Beach to Battleship race.

1hr and 55 mins into the show, Chris Rohde interviews Kirill Kotsegarov, the 2015 Ironman Chatanooga Champion. This race ended with perhaps the greatest sprint finish in Ironman History. Ultimately, Kirill beat Matt Chrabot.

In this episode, Ben talks about the TRS Club Championship that took place about an hour north of New York City. The Toughman New York event was a riot.

In the second segment, Ben talks to pro triathlete, Thomas Gerlach, who finished first at Ironman Wisconsin only to be snubbed by Mike Reilly and Ironman. Should pros race Ironman events where there is no prize purse? Did he steal glory from a deserving age grouper? Do age groupers deserve to win races and cal themselves Ironman Champions?

Finally, Ben interviewed the 2002 ITU World Champion, Ivan Rana. Ivan is gearing up for Kona again. Last year he had the fastest run split. They discussed how he is feeling heading into Kona, his start in the sport, sex in the Olympic village and much much more.

LACTATE THRESHOLD TRAINING: NO LONGER LIMITED TO THE PROS.

It’s all about knowing your limits - when to push those limits and when to pull back, so that ultimately you can break them. Lactate threshold training is the science of measuring your limits over time, then continually adjusting intensities so that you’re always training at the optimal level. Which moves your body’s threshold higher and higher over time, until you surpass previous limits - and break personal records.

This training method has been used by elite athletes, Olympians and professional coaches for more than forty years. For the first time ever, it’s now achievable through a simple, wearable device.

Using LED lights to “look” into your muscle, BSXinsight analyzes your unique biosignals to identify both your lactate threshold and personalized training zones. It’s as accurate as previous blood-based measurements, and it uses the same technology that experts and clinics use – with the added benefits of being wearable, ANT+ compatible and immediately actionable. Finally, you’ll always know how your body is responding to training, from the inside out.

To start things out, TRS calls Mark Luckin and they discuss his brief romance with the beautiful Angela Durazo after he won the "Win a Date" contest in Kona. Was it a publicity stunt or was it real? Then, TRS discussed with Tim of of Magnolia Masters the newly appointed board organized by Ironman Triathlon, known as Women For Triathlon. Why is there a soap opera actress on the board? TRS then opines about trisports.com winning retailer of the year at the Triathlon Business International Conference. Further exposing cronyism in the sport, he explains why he has such a problem with Lava Magazine and it's editors.

In the second segment, Leon "Griffo" Griffin and James "Hadmeister" Hadley join TRS for a lively discussion that can be summarized as two close friends trying to embarrass one another. Did Lance Armstrong apologize to Leon for drafting once upon a time? Does Hadley use a deep fryer every week? Was Leon's passport stolen by Mexican transvestites 10 years ago?

They also discussed whether or not there is impropriety with regard to WTC’s ability to control which athletes USADA tests. Is this true? What are the implications? Mark also ranted about the price increase related to the Superfrog triathlon. Finally, Mark gave the people a little "too terrible for twitter". #TT4T

Richard explains where Toughman fits into the triathlon race series landscape and how he got started in the business. TRS asks some tough questions such as: why doesn’t Toughman drug test its age groupers and even the kids at the Toughkids races. Richard breaks down the business of race production and how his brand can help grass roots races throughout the US. TRS asked Richard about whether or not convicted wife beaters should be on the board at USAT.
